Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants seeks a Principal Engineer - I&C to contribute to mission-critical projects at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions in Aiken, SC. This senior role emphasizes design quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in nuclear environments.

You'll lead I&C design efforts, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure deliverables meet SRNS requirements and DOE security standards. Onsite work with potential for extended responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with 5+ years' relevant I&C design experience in nuclear/process chemical industries.
• MS with 8+ years' experience acceptable for senior I&C design
• BS with 10+ years' experience or PE registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide design engineering staff augmentation support to SRNS.
• Lead engineering analysis, walkdowns, and design output documents (P&IDs, control logics, loop diagrams, instrument indices).
• Ensure SRNS processes and procedures are followed.
• Maintain safety and security compliance including DOE requirements.
