Job summary

Longenecker & Associates (L&A), a Geosyntec Company, seeks a Principal QC Engineer - Electrical Inspector to support Savannah River Nuclear Solutions in Aiken, SC. This onsite role emphasizes QA/QC over electrical and I&C inspections, with peer reviews of inspection plans and field execution.

Applicants should have substantial DOE experience, ASME NQA-1 familiarity, and be able to obtain or maintain a DOE Q clearance if required. A 1-year contract with possible extensions is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 8–10 years construction inspection or related work.
• Alternate: Associate's + 10–12 years; High school + 12–16 years.
• Experience under QA/QC programs and inspections onsite.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, and perform peer reviews of QC inspection plans (electrical/I&C).
• Conduct field inspections and document results; issue non-conformances as needed.
• Review drawings, specs, and materials for compliance with requirements.
