Job summary

Omega Technical Services is seeking a Principal I&C Engineer to support operations in Aiken, SC. The role requires defining scope of technical programs and delivering quality solutions while guiding less experienced engineers.

You will work onsite and contribute to DoD/DOE-related projects with a strong emphasis on instrumentation, control, and automation disciplines. Required credentials include advanced degrees in engineering (Ph.D./M.S./B.S.) and extensive experience in I&C design, PLC/DCS,

Qualifications

Ph.D. degree in applicable science or engineering discipline and 5+ years' experience.
A MS with 8+ years' experience.
A BS with 10+ years' experience or more in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Nuclear, I&C Engineering or PE registration.

Responsibilities

Define scope of technical programs and develop effective, quality solutions to challenges.
Apply technical experience to resolve complex problems.
Provide leadership and guidance to less senior professionals on related tasks.
Develop plans including schedules, budgets and personnel requirements for solving technical tasks.
