ManpowerGroup's Experis is seeking a hands-on Lab Test Automation Engineer in Las Vegas to design, build, and maintain hardware validation test suites for a network hardware staging facility. You will craft scripted, repeatable test flows and automate them as the lab scales.

The role emphasizes low-skill-executable tests, cross-platform scripts, standalone Linux server deployments, and scalable results pipelines, with collaboration across vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python programming for test automation and validation frameworks.
• Experience with pytest or similar test frameworks and network automation tools.
• Knowledge of PXE/DHCP/TFTP provisioning and Linux server administration.

Responsibilities

• Build a scripted test harness for rack-level validation with a low skill floor.
• Automate the Rack Level Test (RLT) flow including BOM verification, port mapping, PRBS, insertion loss, and snake test.
• Develop per-platform scripts across a multi-vendor device matrix.
• Define a machine-readable results schema (JSON) with pass/fail, values, serials, timestamps.
• Export results to cloud storage; ensure operation without interactive corporate network.
• Create SOPs, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides for technicians.
• Document tests for portability across sites and repeatability.
• Deploy a Linux factory-validation server (PXE, dual-NIC, isolated segments).
• Migrate tests into a PXE-driven, scalable workflow.
• Automate management-path access via tunnel/VPN/jump-host patterns.
• Build telemetry, logging, and a metrics pipeline.
• Support capacity/throughput engineering for large-scale validation.
• Maintain source in repos; participate in code reviews and knowledge transfer.
