Qualifications

• Hands-on Lab Test Automation engineering experience with a focus on hardware validation.
• Proficient in Python scripting and test frameworks for automated test execution.
• Experience with network device testing tools and automation libraries (Netmiko/Scrapli/Nornir).
• Familiarity with Linux-based provisioning, PXE boot, and related services.

Responsibilities

• Build a scripted test harness for technicians to run from a laptop or server against a rack.
• Automate the Rack Level Test (RLT) flow including BOM verification and port mapping.
• Develop per-platform scripts across a multi-vendor network device matrix.
• Define a machine-readable results schema and export results to cloud storage.
• Create SOPs, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides for technicians.
• Migrate the test suite into a PXE-driven workflow for parallel execution.
• Configure management-path access and build telemetry and metrics pipelines.
