Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Lab IT Support Engineer for an on-site, 1-year assignment in Holly Springs, NC. You will provide flawless IT support for lab instruments and related software, ensuring data integrity and smooth operation.

Join a regulated environment with ITIL-based incident management, support for LIMS/CDS, and collaboration with vendors and network teams. Prior GMP/GXP exposure and OQ support are a plus; 40 hours weekly on-site.

Qualifications

2–5 years of Lab IT end-user support in Pharma/Biotech or equivalent.
Experience with Lab instruments and lab instrument PCs.
Ability to support users, perform system maintenance and upgrades.
Install and upgrade software; provide first-line troubleshooting.
Work with vendors to support OQ and ensure instrument functionality.
ITIL knowledge including Incident/Change/Knowledge/Problem Management.
Experience with GXP; 21 CFR Part 11; knowledge of LIMS and CDS.

Responsibilities

Perform user administration tasks, including creating user accounts and validating access.
Incident resolution including troubleshooting instrument, network issues, and licenses.
Coordinate with vendors and network teams to install lab instruments.
Write and update SOPs.
Provide maintenance reviews and support to instrument owners, including firmware updates.
