Job summary

US Tech Solutions in Clayton, NC is seeking a Server Engineer to support IT infrastructure within the QC Labs environment. The position is onsite, five days a week, for six months with a potential extension, offering hands-on work on critical laboratory systems.

Responsibilities include maintaining Windows Server OS (from legacy to current), Active Directory and Group Policy, managing vCenter and virtualization, SCCM and endpoint security, and providing responsive IT support.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems from Windows 2000 through Windows Server 2022.
• Experience with Active Directory User and Group Management, and Group Policy.
• Experience building Virtual servers in vCenter and managing PC OSs across XP/7/10/11 environments.
• Familiarity with SCCM, Splunk, Carbon Black or similar antivirus, and monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support IT systems within the QC Labs area as part of a high-performing IT Infrastructure team.
• Onsite work five days per week, collaborating with non-IT stakeholders and users.
• Provide hands-on installation, configuration and troubleshooting of servers and related hardware.
