Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America seeks a Test Technician for our Greene, NY lab to support engineering tests, data collection, and reporting. This hands‑on role involves collaborating with engineers, preparing test setups, and maintaining safety and documentation throughout testing programs.

You will contribute to continuous improvement, lead stand‑ups, and assist with long‑term fatigue/environmental tests. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 2 years of experience or 5 years of experience in a technical field relevant to the job requirement.
• Hands‑on, safety‑minded, teamwork oriented, detail oriented and technically oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, evaluate, understand, and communicate data from prints and technical documents.
• Strong technical writing to document daily activities and draft test reports.
• Associates with Electrical background and experience in harness fabrication and troubleshooting.
• Associates with Mechanical background with hands‑on assembly experience and fixture development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, including setup, data acquisition configuration, sensor selection, and completion of tests.
• Configure, install, and maintain data acquisition systems and test equipment and manage various test programs.
• Lead daily stand‑up meetings and provide project updates.
• Identify gaps in tests and collaborate with engineering to close them.
• Prepare and complete test reports within established timelines and quality standards.
• Support lab operations, 5S activities, and safety compliance.
• Conduct vehicle and component level testing and analyze collected data.
