Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) is hiring a Test Engineer for an in-person role at our Greene, NY office. You will participate in testing and analysis across forklifts, warehouse systems, and automated solutions, collaborating with a diverse team to drive quality and innovation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 5+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or in teams. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of post-graduate engineering experience.
• Strong planning, organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in groups.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative solutions for basic to complex vehicle systems using design, development, implementation, maintenance, test and evaluation techniques.
• Create test plans, templates, and test flows for electrical, mechanical, software, and systems with minimal guidance of senior test engineer.
• Be the test point contact for multiple projects and become SME in multiple areas.
• Resolve complex issues in the test lab.
• Mentor new employees and manage small project subsets.
• Review test plans and provide input on effective testing approaches.
• Keep manager informed of progress, priorities, and schedule/cost status.
• Provide support and leadership for engineering development teams.
• Work with cross-functional groups representing the test department.
