Toyota Material Handling North America seeks a Test Technician for our Greene, NY lab. You will support engineering tests, prepare and run tests, collect data, and report results.

This hands-on role spans lab and field environments, with emphasis on safety, process improvement, and collaboration with engineers and leadership. Responsibilities include developing test plans, operating data acquisition, reviewing data, and documenting results.

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree and 2 years of experience or 5 years of experience in a technical field relevant to the job requirement.
• Hands-on, safety-focused, teamwork oriented, detail oriented, technically oriented.
• Excellent team player with good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to read, evaluate, understand, and communicate data from prints and technical standard documents.
• Strong technical writing skills to document daily activities and draft test reports to required standard.
• Adaptable with strong passion towards field of study or experience.
• Ability to travel (travel may be required).
• Associates with Electrical background - understanding of electronics principles and ability to troubleshoot and assemble schematics with training; experience with harnesses, soldering, and lab subsystems.
• Associates with Mechanical background - understanding of mechanical assemblies and ability to fabricate fixtures and perform assembly/testing.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute test plans, including setup, data acquisition configuration, sensor selection, and completing tests per requirements.
• Configure, install, and maintain data acquisition systems and test equipment; manage bench tests.
• Lead daily stand-up meetings or provide project updates.
• Identify gaps in/test plans and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues.
• Review test plans and procedures and close identified gaps.
• Prepare and complete test reports within established timelines and templates.
• Support lab operations, 5S activities, and test equipment selection.
• Conduct vehicle testing by driving defined duty cycles and patterns; optimize test patterns for objectives.
