Job summary

Universal Processing LLC, a fintech employer, seeks a Junior Recruiter for a fully onsite role in Midtown Manhattan. You will execute and coordinate full-cycle recruitment, including talent acquisition, onboarding, and off-boarding, within the HR department.

The position emphasizes collaboration with hiring managers, managing job postings, interviews, and background checks, with a focus on compliance and process improvements. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US; E-Verify employer.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR management, business, industrial psychology, or related field.
• Experience in a diverse culture workplace preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills; analytical and detail-oriented.
• Organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Reliable knowledge of state and federal employment law.
• Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full cycle recruitment, including talent acquisition, onboarding, and off-boarding.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to assess current and future needs and update job descriptions.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and manage background checks.
• Design interview questions and screening procedures; improve recruitment processes.
• Oversee onboarding documents, training coordination, and activation with internal teams.
• Handle background check inquiries and HR data reporting.
• Support employee engagement, retention strategies, and company culture initiatives.
• Lead work authorization compliance for all employees.
