Job summary

OASYS, INC. in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Jr Software Test Engineer to support our ARMY customer onsite at Redstone Arsenal.

You will work in a team focused on software testing, debugging, and maintenance, contributing to new build capabilities and software modernization with GPUs. The ideal candidate has a BS or MS in CS/SE or related field, 2+ years in software engineering, experience in C/C++ and Linux, and a DoD Secret Clearance or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a highly related technical field.
• 2+ years of full-lifecycle software engineering experience
• Experience in C/C++ software development
• Linux development environment
• Git repository experience for configuration management
• Exposure to modern development concepts
• Some experience with software testing.

Responsibilities

• Candidate will work within a team with a focus on software testing and debugging.
• The candidate will also work toward software maintenance, new build capabilities, and software modernization efforts with GPUs.
• The candidate will be expected to test software, contribute to implementation of issues that maintain the software for customer needs.
