Job summary

OASYS, INC. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Mid-Level Test Engineer/Analyst to join a team supporting ARMY missile defense systems on-site at Redstone Arsenal. You will work with real-time HWIL systems, software, hardware, and digital representations.

The role emphasizes test design, data analysis, and reporting, with opportunities to contribute to performance analysis, modeling & simulation, and risk reduction efforts. A DoD Secret Clearance is required or highly desired.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sensor/system-level data analysis experience.
• IBCS operational or test experience required.
• Proficiency in data manipulation, visualization, and analysis.
• Strong problem-solving, summarization, and reporting skills.
• Eligible for DoD Secret Clearance (Active desired).

Mid-Level Test Engineer/Analyst

OASYS, INC, a Leading-Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking a Mid-Level Test Engineer/Analyst to support our ARMY customer onsite at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities include:

You will join a well-established team that supports the development, test, and fielding of tactical missile defense systems. The selected candidate will work with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems, tactical software & hardware, and digital representations of complex missile defense systems.

• Common tasks for this position include analysis tool design and development, and complex analysis on missile defense system and/or algorithm performance.
• The selected candidate will develop and maintain test cases to support software integration and system integration.
• The selected candidate may support a broad range of projects including performance analysis, modeling & simulation (M&S), post-flight reconstruction, and integration and risk reduction efforts.
• Apply practical engineering knowledge across a broad range of established system engineering principles, concepts, and methods
• Analyze and document results of test cases in software and hardware test report documentation.
• Develop system requirements to support system functionality.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or a highly related technical field. Years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• 3+ years of experience with sensor and/or system-level data analysis.
• Direct operational or test experience with Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) is required.
• Proficient in data manipulation and analysis, data visualization, signal and data processing, electromagnetics, and/or system engineering using MATLAB or similar tools.
• Must have the ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations.
• Ability to develop and/or contribute to reports and briefings that explain complex system behaviors effectively to a broad range of audiences.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively across multiple efforts.
• Up to 10% travel may be required.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience developing and/or improving complex analysis tools using MATLAB.
• Experience in real-time analysis using Linux/Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience with Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD).
• Experience in C, C++, Linux/Unix operating systems, and Microsoft Office.

Required Education:

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Cyber, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other STEM discipline, however, years of experience may be substituted for a degree.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
