CW Resources, Inc. is seeking an experienced Janitorial Project Manager to oversee daily custodial operations at U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT. You will lead a cleaning team on the floor, ensure safety standards, and supervise staff across sites.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with occasional administrative duties, staff scheduling, and on-site problem solving to maintain top-notch cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certificate is required.
• 3–4 years of janitorial or facilities management experience.
• 2+ years in supervisory or team lead roles.
• Experience managing multi-site janitorial operations.
• Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on cleaning and supervision of custodial staff on daily operations.
• Lead by example and train staff to ensure consistent performance and teamwork.
• Complete timesheets, basic reports, and staff scheduling; keep desk work minimal.
• Perform regular walk-through inspections to meet cleanliness and safety standards.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot cleaning equipment and tools safely.
• Monitor supplies, track inventory, and assist with purchasing materials.
• Enforce OSHA regulations, PPE, and chemical-handling procedures for safety.
