Job summary

CW Resources is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor in Groton, CT to lead daily custodial operations, supervise staff, and ensure high standards of cleanliness across facilities. The role runs Monday–Friday, 5:30 PM–10:30 PM, with occasional weekends and travel as needed for base access and coordination.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years custodial/janitorial experience in commercial, institutional, or industrial settings
• Experience guiding custodial staff in operations
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and safe chemical handling
• Valid driver’s license and Real ID; ability to obtain government base access

Responsibilities

• Lead and train custodial staff to perform daily cleaning tasks to standards
• Perform routine custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitation, trash removal
• Conduct regular facility inspections to verify cleanliness and safety compliance
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notify for replenishment
• Ensure proper use and storage of custodial equipment; report malfunctions
• Respond to urgent cleaning needs, spills, and safety hazards promptly
• Coordinate with building management and maintenance to address facility issues
• Assist Custodial Project Manager in implementing cleaning procedures and safety protocols
• Foster a positive, respectful, and productive work environment
