Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an IT Service Technician to provide onsite support for a federal client in Oakland Park, FL. The role involves direct interaction with customers, support teams, and field staff to resolve issues and maintain systems.

Responsibilities include hardware/software maintenance, patching, VPN/Citrix access, asset inventory, and on-site training. Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance and travel occasionally for site coverage.

Qualifications

• High School with 0-3 years (or commensurate experience)
• US Citizen
• High degree of technical proficiency
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for the organization’s networks and devices.
• Coordinate and perform operation and/or maintenance activities for networks/servers.
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain hardware and software across enterprise environments.
• Provide tier 2 support, including hardware troubleshooting and OS reinstall.
• Assist with asset inventory, physical inventory, and disposal processes.
• Support remote users and ensure VPN/Citrix access works reliably.
