ProActive Technology Group in Greenvale, NY seeks a technically strong IT Team Lead to manage a 4–6 person help desk, act as primary technical contact for clients, and drive project work. The role is based onsite with 30% travel to client sites across Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island.

You’ll mentor staff, ensure SLA adherence, deliver VIP-level service to executives, and coordinate with engineers on complex issues.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in a managed services or IT support role.
• Experience leading technical staff.
• Proven ability to communicate with executives and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 4–6 help desk technicians.
• Manage ticket queues, prioritize workloads, and ensure SLAs and service quality standards are met.
• Serve as the escalation point for the team, providing technical guidance and coaching.
• Assist with project tasks and client deployments.
