Job summary

Jobot in Camarillo, CA is seeking an onsite IT Technical Support Specialist to join our IT team. You will support end users and manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, including desktops, servers, networks, and business systems in a manufacturing setting.

This role requires 5+ years of network and systems administration, experience with Windows Server and Linux, Active Directory and Microsoft 365, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years hands-on network and systems administration experience.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN concepts.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with network security practices and scripting (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and infrastructure components; enforce security through firewall policy management, ACLs, and endpoint protection.
• Monitor network and system performance; diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues across endpoints, servers, and infrastructure layers.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and authentication across Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments, including RBAC.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows systems; manage OS imaging, application deployment, patch management, and firmware/security updates.
• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals via hands-on and remote channels; deliver clear guidance to end users.
• Assist with server operations and virtual environment administration (Nutanix, VMware, Hyper-V), including VM provisioning, resource allocation, and hypervisor maintenance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, system configurations, SOPs, and infrastructure diagrams.
