Job summary

Superior Steel Supply, LLC is seeking an IT System Administrator to provide hands-on onsite support at GLT and MPC locations while contributing to data infrastructure and systems integration. The role supports the PS Data ERP go-live and data migration efforts, serving as a backup to the helpdesk technician and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate is technically capable, detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and comfortable shifting between user support and data tasks

Qualifications

• Proven IT support experience with Windows and business apps.
• Firewall and Networking experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 suite.
• Experience with PS Data or similar ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary onsite IT resource at GLT and MPC; handle hardware, software, and network issues.
• Deploy networking and firewall configurations as needed.
• Own site-level support and day-to-day IT tasks to free up the broader team.
• Back up helpdesk staff to ensure continuous coverage.
