Job summary

Trenton-Systems is seeking an IT System Administrator to maintain desktop, server, and ERP infrastructure across Windows and Linux platforms. You will provide hands-on support, monitor system health, and implement security and backup procedures.

The role includes managing the Global Shop ERP system, Active Directory, Group Policy, and network services, while collaborating with users and vendors to ensure reliable IT operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 5+ years IT support or systems administration experience.
• Experience with Windows desktop OS and Windows Server.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Basic Linux administration and ERP familiarity.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Global Shop.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and with users at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1-3 desktop and laptop support.
• Administer Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Maintain Linux servers and security configurations.
• Manage Global Shop ERP system users and access.
• Troubleshoot networking, DNS, DHCP, and VPN issues.
• Document issues, resolutions, and system configurations.
