Job summary

Planned Parenthood California Central Coast (PPCCC) is seeking an IT Technician to provide first‑level support for staff, troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and network issues, and document resolutions. The role collaborates with the MSP to handle complex problems and reports to the Director of IT & Compliance.

The position requires travel within the PPCCC geographic area and strong customer-service skills. A high school diploma is required with potential for growth after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of desktop hardware and software.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Ability to follow procedures and document requests.
• Willingness to travel within PPCCC area.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft 365 and common office tech.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite IT support affiliate wide.
• Coordinate with MSP to resolve issues and perform onsite tasks.
• Document support activities in the help desk system.
• Troubleshoot routine workstation, laptop, printer, scanner, phone and network issues.
• Configure and deploy workstations and related devices.
• Maintain IT asset records.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding and device provisioning.
• Develop help sheets and FAQs for end users.
