Job summary

Genesis10 is seeking an IT Support Technician for a Direct Hire role in Kent, OH. This onsite position provides Tier 2 hardware, software, and network support within a multi-site Microsoft environment.

You'll be the first point of contact for employees, troubleshoot devices, manage Active Directory accounts, and assist with ERP and business systems projects while supporting security and telecom infrastructures.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows-based environments and basic IT infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 help desk support for hardware, software, OS, and network issues.
• Manage IT hardware, software, and assets including deployment and upgrades.
• Support Active Directory user accounts, permissions, and LAN/WAN connectivity.
• Assist with ERP and business systems projects, document processes, and develop end-user training materials.
• Oversee physical access controls, badges, and key fobs.
• Administer VoIP/PBX and enterprise printer/copier fleet.
• Maintain critical facility IT-related systems such as generators.
• Coordinate IT projects and track milestones and timelines.
• Liaise with IT vendors and service providers for upgrades and maintenance.
