Job summary

Castalia Systems is seeking a Journeyman IT Support Specialist to serve as the primary on-site contact for end-user IT requests within an Intelligence Network Enterprise. You will support 700+ users, manage devices, and coordinate peripherals and software across networks. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, U.S.

citizenship, and experience in Tier 1–2 IT support, ITSM tools, and Active Directory. You will handle VTC scheduling and maintain accurate asset records while delivering professional

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 9+ years of experience in a professional environment or higher.
• CompTIA Security+ and/or DoD 8570-compliant IAT Level II certification.
• 3+ years in a user-facing IT operations/help desk environment.
• Experience supporting end users across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS desktops and peripherals.
• Experience with Windows end-user break-fix steps and hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls across systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Familiar with VTC scheduling and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for 700+ users, workstations, printers, and peripherals across networks.
• Perform Tier 1-2 troubleshooting, user account management, and VTC coordination to ensure productivity.
• Assist with IT assets, documentation, and incident tracking; ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
• Support end users via in-person, email, or phone communications for hardware/software issues across multiple domains.
• Assist with Windows operating systems, AD, and access control management.
