Job summary

Kentro is hiring an experienced Customer Service Engineer to support VA-ESOM End Point and Operations Monitoring across the United States, with onsite work in Aurora, CO. You will assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, and provide remote and desk-side IT support to VA staff and contractors.

Qualifications include a computer science/engineering degree or 8+ years of related experience, 2+ years in IT support or sysadmin, and familiarity with AD,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or related technical discipline, or 8 years of experience substitute allowed.
• 2+ years in IT Technical Support, Help Desk or System Administration.
• Experience with routine system administration tasks and logging data in system logs.
• Familiarity with debugging protocols and IT principles; strong MS Office and Windows basics.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot computer systems and equipment onsite and remotely.
• Respond to IT support tickets and provide remote and desk-side assistance.
• Maintain Active Directory and system accounts; support connectivity and client applications.
• Monitor ServiceNow tickets and follow processes; report discrepancies and propose fixes.
