Job summary

Kentro is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to support VA-ESOM End Point and operations monitoring across the United States. Onsite at the VA Medical Center in Memphis, TN, the role involves diagnosing issues, guiding end users, and performing routine system administration tasks.

The candidate will respond to IT tickets, manage user accounts, and assist in configuring local and wide area network services while maintaining a strong customer-focused mindset and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or another engineering/technical discipline or 8 years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in IT Technical Support, Help Desk or System Administration.
• Must meet the physical requirements listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot computer systems and equipment; ensure optimal operation and user satisfaction.
• Provide remote and desk-side technical support; respond to IT tickets; diagnose and repair hardware and software components.
• Maintain user accounts (Active Directory), interface with applications, compile reports, respond to requests.
• Support connectivity and client applications; assist in configuring and supporting LAN/WAN services.
• Monitor VA ServiceNow tickets; ensure processes are followed and report discrepancies with corrective actions.
