Job summary

Kentro is hiring a Customer Service Engineer to support the VA-ESOM End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract. The role requires onsite Cincinnati VA Medical Center work, with potential remote components for escalation and coordination with VA offices nationwide.

The ideal candidate has IT support or system administration experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• 2+ years of experience in IT Technical Support, Help Desk or System Administration.
• Candidates must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of computer systems and equipment for VA-ESOM End Point Support.
• Deliver remote and desk-side IT support, respond to tickets, and perform diagnostics on hardware and software.
• Assist in Active Directory maintenance, account management, connectivity, and network services support.
