Job summary

Insight is seeking an Associate Engineer for the Fort Worth, TX onsite office to perform installation, modification, repair, testing and servicing on systems, hardware, software configurations, and network cabling.

You will service internal teammates and clients on site, document service calls, and help identify hardware problems with cost-effective solutions, while pursuing growth and upskilling in a people-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3–4 years related experience.
• LANs, WANs, PCs, messaging and server software experience required.
• Cable plants, network services, email, bulletin boards, and CD-ROM libraries knowledge.
• Ability to automate tasks using basic scripting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Installs, modifies, repairs, tests, and services systems and communications equipment.
• Services internal teammates and clients on site.
• Completes documentation for service calls and returns defective parts.
• Identify system hardware problems and resolve them cost-effectively.
• Opportunities to grow with upskilling and promotions.
