Job summary
Kentro is hiring a Customer Service Engineer to support VA-ESOM End Point Support and Operations Monitoring under the VA contract. The role is onsite at Royal C. Johnson Veterans' Memorial Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD, with occasional travel for surge capacity.
You will diagnose issues, guide customers through fixes, perform routine system administration tasks, and log actions in admin systems. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in CS or related field (or 8 years of equivalent experience) and 2+
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or related field, or 8 years of additional relevant experience.
- 2+ years of IT Technical Support or System Administration.
- Candidates must meet the physical requirements of the role.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote technical support for government IT systems.
- Respond to IT support tickets and diagnose hardware/software issues.
- Assist with Active Directory and user/account management.
- Monitor and log actions in system administration logs.
- Coordinate surge travel and equipment handling as needed.
- Maintain safety precautions and physically handle equipment.
