Job summary

NTT DATA seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to join our on-site team in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on delivering Agile projects, coaching teams in Scrum, and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables. It requires 7+ years in project management and 5+ years in Scrum/Agile practices, with strong communication and leadership skills. H1-B sponsorship is not available.

The position is on-site five days a week, with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include 7+ years in project management.
• 5+ years Scrum techniques and artifacts (definition of done, user stories, backlog refinement).
• 5+ years of experience in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Manage each project’s scope and timeline.
• Report metrics and project updates.
• Coordinate sprints, retrospectives and daily stand-ups.
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks.
• Facilitate internal communication and collaboration.
• Be the point of contact for external communications.
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests.
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles.
• Help teams implement changes effectively.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity.
• Foster a productive environment where team members own the product.
