Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our San Diego, CA team. You will lead end-to-end planning, execution and delivery of technical projects aligned with business objectives; coordinating cross-functional teams and dependencies to meet milestones.

You will manage stakeholder communications, track progress with dashboards, and partner with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests, while guiding Agile/Scrum maturity and software development practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in project management with a strong focus on technology delivery.
• Minimum 5+ yrs in project planning & scheduling: creating, managing, and tracking plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables.
• Minimum 5+ yrs in stakeholder management, risk & issue management.
• Minimum 5+ yrs SDLC, Agile, Scrum and waterfall experience.
• Minimum 5+ yrs experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), APIs, integrations, and enterprise architectures.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and PM tools; familiarity with software development.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Lead end to end planning, execution and delivery of technical projects ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Plan and manage project delivery by tracking scope, schedule, milestones, and deliverables
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure activities are aligned and dependencies are addressed
• Manage stakeholder communication through regular updates, meetings, and expectation management
• Track project progress and performance using dashboards, reports, and key metrics
• Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
• Ensure deliverables are up to quality stand
• Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
• Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it

• PMP/Scrum master certification is a plus

Minimum/Required skills:

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $78,948.00 to $137,063.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
