Job summary

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas, NV seeks an IT Network Administrator to manage the organization’s network, systems, and technology infrastructure. This role reports to the IT Director and is fully onsite.

Responsibilities include security administration, system maintenance, disaster recovery planning, and collaboration across departments to deliver reliable technology services. A four-year IT background and related certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of four (4) years of progressive IT experience, including network, systems, and infrastructure support.
• Professional certifications (VMware, Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+) are preferred.
• Experience managing IT projects and prioritizing multiple initiatives.
• Strong understanding of information technology systems, governance, security, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support organization’s information security program to protect assets, applications, systems, and infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain IT systems, servers, storage, network equipment, and communications technologies.
• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures for business continuity.
• Collaborate with IT team and stakeholders to improve service performance and share knowledge.
• Provide Tier III help desk support and ensure timely resolution of complex issues.
• Work within budgets to upgrade and replace hardware, software, and resources.
• Lead IT projects, coordinate with external consultants, and enforce IT policies and standards.
• Support vendor relationships and develop SLAs and performance metrics.
