Job summary

LayerCake, a Blue Alliance company, is seeking a Field Services Technician II to perform onsite hardware installations, workstation deployments, and network equipment setups at client sites in Phoenix, AZ. This role represents the company in person and requires substantial travel to client locations.

You will refresh equipment, carry out physical break/fix support, and meticulously document all onsite work for the remote team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in IT field services and desktop support.
• Hands-on hardware deployment and onsite troubleshooting experience.
• Proactive in documenting work, ticketing, and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite technical work including hardware installations and workstation deployments.
• Rack-and-stack network equipment and cabling at client sites.
• Execute equipment refreshes and technology rollouts per project plans and checklists.
• Provide break/fix support for hardware/connectivity issues requiring physical presence.
• Document all onsite work including As-built records, serial numbers, and configurations.
