Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an On-site Support Technician to provide hands-on desk-side IT support and problem resolution for end users at our Utah/US sites. You will install, configure, and update desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, while coordinating with Level 3 teams for service delivery enhancements.

You should have 3+ years of field services experience, strong customer service, and familiarity with Windows OS, VPN, and AV/Network basics. Travel to remote sites may be required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience.
• 1-3 years of service delivery and end-user hardware/software troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Windows OS, VPN, printing, notebooks and mobile devices.
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desk-side support for end users and resolve service requests in a timely manner.
• Install and configure desktops, laptops, mobile devices and related peripherals.
• Perform on-site updates, configuration changes, and software installations.
• Coordinate with Level 3 support and vendors for issue resolution and escalations.
• Maintain ticket queue and meet defined SLAs; communicate status to users.
• Support IT for events, DR/incident response, and network/AV teams as needed.
