Clariant SE is seeking an IT Engineer to ensure reliable technology operations across all local sites in Mount Holly, NC. You will resolve incidents, support infrastructure and applications, and drive regional IT improvements that align with global standards.

The role requires hands-on IT support experience, strong communication, and a customer-focused mindset. Travel up to 15% and collaboration with vendors are expected to sustain service continuity and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT or 7+ years of equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years in IT support (hardware lifecycle, imaging, troubleshooting, Microsoft Suite).
• Relevant IT certifications are a plus.
• Fluent in written and verbal English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Proficient communication, interpersonal, and intercultural skills.
• Customer-focused, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
• Ability to travel 15%.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT infrastructure and application support across all local sites.
• Serve as the first point of contact for business requests, escalations, and IT challenges.
• Participate in and contribute to global and regional IT projects.
• Maintain and implement the Standard IT Service Framework.
• Act as internal IT Consultant/Analyst for new demands and project-related tasks.
• Meet ServiceNow KPIs and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure service continuity.
