Job summary

Sky Systems, Inc. (SkySys) seeks an L1 + AV Technician to provide onsite desktop and AV support, basic network checks, and conference room operations. You will troubleshoot, coordinate with remote teams and vendors, and ensure smooth day-to-day site operations.

The role involves dispatch support based on location needs and requires hands-on work with desktops, laptops, and meeting room devices, plus familiarity with Teams/Zoom/Webex.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of IT and AV support experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting with desktops, laptops, and meeting room devices.
• Basic understanding of network fundamentals (LAN ports, cabling, patching, device resets).
• Familiarity with conferencing platforms (Teams, Zoom, Webex).
• Ability to lift and work at height as needed.
• Strong communication, customer service and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow SOPs, ticketing processes and escalation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot desktops/notebooks and coordinate warranty repairs.
• Manage loaner/spare devices in customer systems.
• Provide L1 AV support for meeting rooms and device readiness.
• Manage conference room accounts and user access.
• Assist with basic printer troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Provide on-site infrastructure and network checks.
• Coordinate with vendors and procurement when needed.
• Support equipment replacement or reset during outages under IT guidance.
• Work at height when required and report changes to teams.
• Maintain communication with on-site/off-site teams per SOPs.
