Job summary

KeenLogic seeks a proactive Tier II Help Desk Analyst and Asset Technician to join our Alexandria, VA team. The role focuses on Tier II support for NSF-owned hardware and asset management across PCs and Apple workstations, with onsite work and collaborative problem solving.

You will diagnose and remediate workstation issues, assist with software installs, and coordinate with eBusiness when deeper support is required. Strong communication and documentation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience, Associate’s degree and 5 years, or High School diploma and 7 years.
• Experience in IT support, compliance management, or regulatory affairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical skills.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
• Proficiency with support ticketing systems, auditing tools, and compliance management tools, including ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Provide Tier II support for NSF-owned IT hardware assets including workstations and mobile devices; troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues; document using ServiceNow.
• Compliance and Auditing: Conduct audits of hardware assets to ensure policy compliance; verify asset records; develop audit plans; report findings and ensure ongoing compliance.
