Job summary

Converge Technology Solutions UK is seeking an IOC Specialist to monitor our infrastructure and customer environments on site in Mason, Ohio. This is a Level 1.5 support role focused on incident identification, classification, and resolution in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate will analyze alerts, manage monitoring configurations, and support Windows, Linux, and network devices while ensuring SLA/ITSM compliance. Excellent teamwork and communication are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a Customer Service monitoring operational environment.
• Good technical understanding of network fundamentals and common internet protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• ITSM foundation training required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and verify monitoring alerts to produce incident identification, classification, and prioritization.
• Create, improve, and maintain monitoring alerts based on correlation of data sources.
• Operate and maintain Windows Server, Windows Desktop, and Linux systems.
• Operate and maintain network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Operate and maintain IT services like Active Directory, File Systems, Antivirus, Backups.
• Respond to security incidents and investigations following SLA and ITSM processes.
