Job summary

Mallory Safety & Supply is seeking an Onsite Inventory Specialist to join our onsite team in Austin, TX. You will ensure stock levels, restock PPE, and audit inventories to meet client needs while upholding safety standards.

The role requires OSHA 10 (Mallory will enroll if needed), a valid driver's license, and strong customer service with problem-solving skills. This is an in-person position with occasional weekend work and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with driving record that aligns with Safe Driver policy.
• OSHA 10 certification or enrolled within 30 days of start date.
• Previous warehouse, merchandising, and/or inventory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on results.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and comfort with technology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.
• Ability to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Restock vending machines and refill PPE and safety items.
• Run and review restock reports to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts and audits; document results.
• Inspect safety equipment and maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Communicate with internal and external customers by phone, email, and in person.

This is great for someone who likes customer service, working independently, and working in an industrial setting!Location & ScheduleThis is an in-person, onsite position — it is not remote or hybrid.Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PMSome weekend work is required on a rotating basis, approximately every 4–6 weeksDriving RequirementsThis position may require occasional driving of the employee's own vehicle between the warehouse and the onsite client location for meetings.Here's how you can make an impact as an Inventory Specialist:Restock vending machines and refill dispensers with PPE and other safety and industrial itemsRun and review restock reports to ensure accurate inventory levelsMaintain inventory accuracy by following process development and quality standardsComplete cycle counts and reports to ensure the customer always has stockInspect first aid cabinets, AEDs, eye wash and shower stations, and emergency lightsClean and maintain equipment and machinesDocument inspections via virtual reporting softwareComplete detailed audits using a checklistCommunicate effectively with internal teammates and external customers via phone, email, and in personContinuous lifting, bending, and walking throughout the shiftHere's what we are looking for in an Inventory Specialist:Valid driver's license with at least two years of driving experience and a driving record that aligns with our Safe Driver policyOSHA 10 certification — if not already obtained, Mallory will enroll the candidate, who will have 30 days from their start date to complete itPrevious warehouse, merchandising, and/or inventory experience preferredAbility to keep up in a fast-paced environmentStrong customer service skills and a passion for delivering resultsCreative problem-solving skillsProficiency with technology and various software, including Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to read and write in EnglishGood to Know:PPE is required.
