Job summary

Mallory Safety & Supply is seeking an Onsite Inventory Specialist in Austin, TX to fulfill orders and audit inventory at a client site. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and independent work at an industrial site.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, OSHA 10, and strong customer service skills. A valid driver's license and English literacy are required. The position is onsite with Monday–Friday hours and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with at least two years of driving experience.
• OSHA 10 certification or enrollment with 30 days to complete from start date.
• Previous warehouse, merchandising and/or inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering results.
• Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Restock vending machines and refill dispensers with PPE and other safety and industrial items.
• Run and review restock reports to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by following process development and quality standards.
• Complete cycle counts and reports to ensure the customer always has stock.
• Inspect first aid cabinets, AEDs, eye wash and shower stations, and emergency lights.
• Document inspections via virtual reporting software.
• Communicate effectively with internal teammates and external customers via phone, email, and in person.

Mallory Safety and Supply is hiring an Onsite Inventory Specialist to join our Onsite team!

As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for individuals interested in building a career and being part of an amazing team. Although the day‑to‑day tasks may vary, your overall objective as an Onsite Inventory Specialist will be to meet the needs of our customers by fulfilling orders and auditing inventory onsite. Our ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, possesses creative problem‑solving skills, a desire to be part of something greater and navigates through challenges with a growth mindset. Dependent on performance, this role can offer overtime, travel opportunities and career development.

You will be acting as a representative of Mallory on our client site ensuring the highest safety standards, so their employees can stay safe on the job day in and day out! This is great for someone who likes customer service, working independently, and working in an industrial setting!

Location & Schedule

This is an in‑person, onsite position — it is not remote or hybrid.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Some weekend work is required on a rotating basis, approximately every 4–6 weeks

Driving Requirements

This position may require occasional driving of the employee's own vehicle between the warehouse and the onsite client location for meetings.

Here’s how you can make an impact as an Inventory Specialist:

• Restock vending machines and refill dispensers with PPE and other safety and industrial items
• Run and review restock reports to ensure accurate inventory levels
• Maintain inventory accuracy by following process development and quality standards
• Complete cycle counts and reports to ensure the customer always has stock
• Inspect first aid cabinets, AEDs, eye wash and shower stations, and emergency lights
• Clean and maintain equipment and machines
• Document inspections via virtual reporting software
• Complete detailed audits using a checklist
• Communicate effectively with internal teammates and external customers via phone, email, and in person
• Continuous lifting, bending, and walking throughout the shift

Here’s what we are looking for in an Inventory Specialist:

• Valid driver's license with at least two years of driving experience and a driving record that aligns with our Safe Driver policy
• OSHA 10 certification — if not already obtained, Mallory will enroll the candidate, who will have 30 days from their start date to complete it
• Previous warehouse, merchandising, and/or inventory experience preferred
• Ability to keep up in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering results
• Creative problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency with technology and various software, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to read and write in English

Good to Know:

• PPE is required. Mallory will provide all PPE except steel-toe shoes, which the candidate must supply themselves.
• Candidates must be eligible for rehire if they have previously worked at Gigafactory.
• Attendance is a firm requirement for this role, along with availability for the rotating weekend shifts described above.
• The ideal candidate communicates effectively, multitasks well, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
