Job summary

Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team in Chandler, AZ is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support receiving, stocking and inventory accuracy across customer sites. You will work with GMP-adjacent processes, use a scanner and our software, and help maintain stock at multiple locations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of customer service or material handling, ability to lift 50 lbs, and good communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of customer service, inventory replenishment, or material handling experience.
• Microsoft Teams experience preferred; basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• GMP facility experience is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Receiving products at customer dock or other shipping/receiving point, unpacking and de-trashing as needed.
• Recording receipts of inventory against packing slips and following up on discrepancies.
• Maintaining accurate inventory levels in Avantor storerooms and at customer areas.
• Transportation of consumables within the customer facility and stocking of POU locations.
• Transacting stocking quantities using a scanner and proprietary software and downloading transactions as required.
• Conducting regular POU audits for proper signage and changes to items/quantities.
• Serving as the point of contact for inventory availability issues and escalation.
• Supporting Special Projects such as tours and other on-site activities.
• Meeting scheduling requirements and performing other duties as assigned.
