Job summary

EnerSys, a global leader in stored energy solutions, seeks an Inventory Control Supervisor for our Springfield, MO facility. This onsite role leads the inventory control team, overseeing cycle counting, PFEP management, and ERP data accuracy to support material flow and operational performance.

You will work with Supply Chain, Production, Purchasing and Finance to optimize inventory levels, reduce overstocks, and ensure audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inventory control experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct all inventory control activities, including cycle counting, reconciliation, and accuracy checks.
• Maintain PFEP to ensure accurate material flow and master data integrity.
• Manage annual physical inventory planning, execution, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to reduce overstocks and remove obsolete/redundant materials.
• Oversee scrap processes, reporting, and reconciliation for accuracy.
• Verify production order variances and coordinate with Production and Finance to resolve discrepancies.
