Job summary

UHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group is seeking an Interim Controller for a great UHY client in Houston. The role requires strong technical accounting experience, US GAAP expertise, and a proven track record leading accounting operations and ERP transformations.

You will oversee the general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, consolidations, internal controls, audits, and ERP implementations, partnering with Finance, IT, and Operations to drive standardization and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, consolidations, and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee internal controls, audit readiness, and external audits.
