UHY Advisors\' Resource Solutions Group seeks an experienced Controller for project-based, client engagements across Florida. You will lead the close, reporting, and internal controls, providing hands-on accounting leadership in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and controllership-level work.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ability to operate in multi-entity environments.
• CPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute components of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting schedules.
• Assess close-process gaps and resolve items affecting reporting timeliness and accuracy.
• Prepare and review U.S. GAAP financial statements and management reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls, close documentation, and audit readiness; support SOX and external audits.
• Provide hands-on support across areas like intercompany, revenue, leases, assets, accruals, and working capital.
• Collaborate with CFOs and accounting leaders to resolve issues and drive improvements.
• Support ERP implementations, remediation, and acquisition integration as needed.
• Improve recurring accounting workflows and transfer knowledge to client teams.
