Job summary

Mercy in Springfield, MO seeks an Insurance Services Representative I to handle collections and resolution of outstanding insurance receivables, including unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims. The role requires effective communication, accuracy in processing high claim volumes, and alignment with Mercy's mission, values and service standards.

You’ll work as part of a caring, collaborative team supporting patient billing and healthcare financial conversations.

Qualifications

• HS degree or equivalent required.
• Prior EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing or Ambulatory experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare billing or insurance preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities
