Job summary
Dow Inc. is seeking an Electrician/Instrument (EI) Technician to support Bristol/Croydon plants, performing safe maintenance and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems. You will calibrate, test, and troubleshoot complex equipment, contribute to reliability improvements, and coordinate with planners and owners for effective work execution.
The role requires 3+ years in instrumentation maintenance, knowledge of DeltaV or similar systems, and a U.S. work authorization.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years instrumentation maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of instrumentation: Flow Elements/Sensors, Pressure Sensors, Temperature Probes.
- Willing to work overtime and answer emergency calls after hours.
- U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship is available.
Responsibilities
- Maintains instrument and electrical equipment with emphasis on instrumentation.
- Sets up, calibrates, tests, measures and repairs electrical controls and instruments.
- Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions; documents findings and hours.
- Participates in Global Maintenance Work Process for E/I work.
- Builds equipment files in SAP and defines scheduled services for E/I.
