Job summary
Dow Inc. seeks an Electrician/Instrument (EI) Technician for the Bristol-Croydon area, supporting multiple production plants. You will repair, maintain and calibrate electrical and instrumentation equipment, deliver reliable technical support, and contribute to safety and reliability initiatives across the site.
The role requires hands-on experience with instrumentation and electrical systems, willingness to work overtime, and U.S. work eligibility.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3+ years of instrumentation maintenance experience.
- Working knowledge of Flow Elements/Sensors, Pressure Sensors, and Temperature Probes.
- Willing to work overtime and answer emergency calls off hours.
- U.S. work eligibility; no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Maintain instrument and electrical equipment in area of responsibility.
- Set up, calibrate, test, and repair electrical controls, instruments, and probes.
- Repair, maintain and install electrical and instrument equipment.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions safely and document failure analysis.
- Collect operation history data to improve reliability.
- Coordinate E/I troubleshooting and plan with field/planner; support PPM coordination.
