Job summary

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, ability to read P&IDs and isometrics, and possession of basic hand tools, with TWIC card preferred for access to sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of Instrument Fitter experience in industrial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, blueprints, and specs.
• Experience installing and fabricating instrument tubing systems and components.
• Must possess basic hand tools to perform duties.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening and site requirements.
• Current TWIC Card.
• Current Basic Plus/Safety Essentials certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and route instrument tubing and supports per drawings.
• Verify alignment and perform tubing pressure tests and leak checks.
• Read P&IDs and work packages to determine installation needs.
• Install transmitters, gauges, valves, analyzers.
• Maintain tools and work areas in a safe condition.
• Coordinate with supervisors and engineers to meet schedules.
• Follow safety policies and participate in safety meetings.
• Perform other duties supporting project or maintenance activities.
