Job summary

Taurus Industrial Group, LLC is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team in Texas. The ideal candidate will read blueprints, weld, and install piping systems that meet industry standards, collaborating with other trades to ensure project milestones are met.

You will perform inspections, use hand and power tools, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while adhering to all safety protocols. Prior experience in construction or manufacturing piping and HVAC integration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role in construction or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in pipeline installation and maintenance techniques.
• Familiarity with using calipers and other measuring tools for precise measurements.
• HVAC knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain piping systems in accordance with specifications and codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of piping systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for pipe fitting tasks, including pipe threading and welding.
• Perform stick welding as needed to join metal components securely.
• Conduct regular inspections of piping systems to identify issues or maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with HVAC technicians to ensure proper integration of piping within heating and cooling systems.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
