Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Chantilly, VA seeks an Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) to support secure design, implementation and assessment of National Security Systems, following NIST RMF, CNNSI 1253, JSIG and FIPS guidance.

The on-site role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance, DoD 8140.03 Level 3 or 4, a bachelor’s or higher degree, and offers health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, educational assistance, parental leave, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8140.03 Level 3 or 4 certification required.
• Degree requirement: Bachelor’s or Graduate degree; or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform incident response and cyber threat identification.
• Coordinate defensive cyber operations and malware analysis.
• Develop and review RMF/JSIG artifacts (SSP, RMF artifacts, POA&Ms).
• Assist in security architecture, STIG/compliance and CI/CD tooling.
• Define security controls and oversee cloud/on-prem deployments.
