Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) to support National Security Systems. The role involves defining, implementing, testing, and sustaining security solutions with NIST RMF, SP 800-53, 800-171, and related guidelines.

The successful candidate will work with developers and vendors to design secure systems, perform vulnerability analyses, and generate comprehensive security documentation.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8140.03 Level 3 or 4 certification required.
• Experience with RMF and NIST publications is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform incident response and cyber threat identification.
• Support RMF activities including SSPs, RMF artifacts, and continuous monitoring.
• Develop and assess security controls, DOIs, STIGs and security baselines.
• Conduct SAST for DevSecOps and CI/CD tooling integration.
• Collaborate with developers and vendors on secure system design.
